HebCinema

Hebcinema is a new umbrella initative supporting the creation and running of a network of new film clubs in rural venues in Lewis and Harris.

 

Between December 2016 and March 2017 there will be monthly screenings for the community and memberships available for local people to help choose what films come to their venue, run their club and attend the programme of screenings.

Tickets on the door available for visitors or non members. All welcome.

The Grump is a 2014 Finnish comedy drama. The film tells the story about a stubbornly traditional eighty-year-old farmer — whose social attitudes verge on the prehistoric — raises hell when he is forced to move in with his sadsack, city-dwelling son and successful daughter-in-law. Based on the book by Finnish author Tuomas Kyrö.

With this membership option entry to a film for a family will be £5 a ticket, it can also be used by children attending to get tickets for £2 each or for an adult attending to get tickets for £3 each. 

Adult membership: £3

This membership is for 1 adult and offers tickets for £3 on the door

Under 18s membership: £2

For one person under 18 this young persons's membership offers tickets for £2 on the door.

All memberships also give you access to exclusive members news, input into what films will screen in Bernera and a 20% discount on Hebrides International Film Festival tickets.
