Are you a local business wanting to promote your business with us? We have several options available for advertising during the Festival - either in the Festival programme brochure or on-screen.

The Festival Programme:

The programme will be an A5 brochure (portrait) using environmentally friendly paper and inks. The festival brochure will present high quality professionally-designed graphics. Adverts will be strategically placed throughout the copy.  Over 3000 programme brochures will be produced and distributed around the Islands and throughout Scotland. The programme and its advertisers will also be featured on this website. The deadline for advert copy is Noon, Monday, 31st August 2015.

 

Sponsor a screening at your local venue! 

Individual venue on-screen advertising: There are three screenings of different films planned in each venue. Local businesses are being invited to sponsor the screenings in one of the rural venues - Ness, Great Bernera, Tarbert, N. Uist, S. Uist and Barra.

The business advert should last 1.5 minutes maximum and could be static pictures, Power Point or moving image and should be submitted in DVD format.  The advert DVD must be submitted by 5pm on Monday 5th October. 

 

Festival-wide Film Advertising

HIFF 2015 can offer the opportunity to two strategic National organisations to present on-screen advertising. This will involve presenting a short advertising film between 1 - 3 minutes long. The ad will be screened in each of the HIFF venues - 45 cinema screening events are planned plus the 2 pop-up cinemas. 

The advertising film should reach HIFF organisers by Monday 5th October.
